Ruchir Sharma, chairman of Rockefeller International and founder and chief investment officer of Breakout Capital, has joined the asset allocation committee (AAC) of Mumbai-based wealth manager 360 ONE Wealth.

The AAC offers strategic and tactical allocation guidance for equities, fixed income, and other asset classes. The committee evaluates each asset class based on macroeconomic factors, monetary policy dynamics, corporate earnings, valuations, sentiment, and fund flows. It then provides a base view for each asset class with a medium to long-term perspective, offering comprehensive guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

With more than 4,66,000 crores (US$56.3 billion) of assets under management, 360 ONE Wealth offers comprehensive financial solutions for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

Sharma moved to Rockefeller in 2022 after a 25-year career at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he was head of emerging markets and chief global strategist.

Based in New York, Sharma is a contributing opinion writer at The New York Times. His work has also appeared in The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, Foreign Affairs, The Atlantic, The Guardian, and Foreign Policy.

He is the author of several bestsellers, including Breakout Nations (2012), The Rise and Fall of Nations (2016), Democracy on the Road (2019), and The 10 Rules of Successful Nations (2020).
