Standard Chartered has announced a series of strategic senior appointments to its Discretionary Portfolio Management ( DPM ) team in Singapore underscoring the bank’s commitment to expanding its wealth management capabilities and providing institutional-grade expertise to its affluent client base.
Effective this week, Sylvain Huard joins Standard Chartered as head, Asset Allocation. Based in Singapore, Huard will be responsible for driving the strategic and tactical asset allocation framework for the DPM business, according to a statement.
He joins from BNP Paribas Wealth Management and will report directly to Daniel Furer, global head of Discretionary Portfolio Management.
In addition, the bank has welcomed two specialists to Furer’s team, significantly enhancing the group’s analytical and execution depth.
Sarah Lee, senior equity portfolio manager joined from Indosuez Asset Management on November 2025 bringing extensive experience in managing specialized equity mandates.
Chiang Ming Rong, portfolio analyst, also joined from Schroders on December 2025 focusing on portfolio construction and quantitative analysis.
